The Apprentice of the Year Award acknowledges and celebrates an apprentice’s exceptional contribution to their workplace.
The Judges are looking for evidence of:
The positive impact and excellent results they have produced
Commitment and an ability to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
How they have applied their academic study and technical skills in the work place
What sets them apart from other apprentices
The skills the apprentice has developed which has benefited the business.
How the apprenticeship has benefited the business to meet organisational goals and objectives.
Eligibility
The apprentice nominated must either be still working on an apprenticeship programme or have qualified in the last 2 years
It is open to apprentices who live or study in Calderdale.
The apprentice nominated can be any age, in any industry at any level
Before you nominate, please note that the nomination form is set up mainly for businesses. On the nomination form, where it asks for the business name and website address, please enter the name of the business or organisation the Apprentice is or was studying or working.
