You / Your means the individual, limited company or limited liability partnership who enters into a
contract to buy a ticket or tickets for the Event on the Event Date.

The contract

Business for Calderdale is a networking organisation run by committee. It has no legal formation. As
such, when buying tickets, You are contracting with CFFC who are processing the tickets on behalf of
Business for Calderdale. The members of the Business for Calderdale committee have no legal Liability
nor obligation to You whatsoever.

The contract is for the supply of a ticket or tickets to attend the Event on the Event Date. The only and
sole legal obligation of CFFC to You is to provide the ticket or tickets You buy to attend the Event on
the Event Date.

Your tickets to attend the Event will not be confirmed, and there will not be any contract formed with
You, until the tickets you have booked are paid for in full. Business for Calderdale and CFFC reserve
the right to release any ticket or tickets that have not been paid for to a third party if payment has not
been received in full 28 days before the Event Date.

Once a contract has been entered into, it cannot be changed. It is your responsibility to allocate the
tickets you have bought amongst your guests. You will not be given a refund if you subsequently find

CFFC’s total Liability to You.

Should it be necessary to postpone the Event Date for any reason (whether in the control of Business
for Calderdale or CFFC or not), You agree that You will allow CFFC and Business for Calderdale to retain
the money You have paid for Your ticket/s until such time as the Event can be rearranged to a new
date provided this is within six months of the Event. If outside six months, the money You have paid
for Your ticket/s will be refunded by CFFC. You will not be entitled to any form of damages or
compensation (whether direct or indirect) if this should happen. This is CFFC’s total Liability to You.

The Event will take place at the Venue. You agree that if the Business for Calderdale committee
consider it necessary the Venue may be changed and You will not be entitled to any refund if that
should happen nor shall CFFC or Business for Calderdale have any Liability to You for the change.

The Venue is entirely responsible to You for Your, and any of Your guests, whilst at the Event. Neither
CFFC nor Business for Calderdale has any Liability whatsoever to You (or any of Your guests) in relation
to anything that may happen or occur at the Event. You are responsible for Your own safety at the
Event and if anything should occur this will be between You and the Venue.

If You buy a ticket or tickets to attend the Event as a finalist in any of the Awards categories, You
understand that You may not receive an award.

Given the above, You agree and accept that these terms relating to the contract are reasonable
